Stéphanie MARCHAND-MARION is an Assistant Professor of wine chemistry at the Institute of Vine and Wine Sciences of the University of Bordeaux. She specializes in chemical wine analysis using tools such as gas and liquid chromatography. She is particularly interested in the quality and typicity of aged wines according to the expression of the terroir. She leads research projects aimed to set up innovative analysis tools and aimed at the use of those tools for revealing the composition of high quality aged wines.
